President's Message
The term "love" gets thrown around a lot, but here at CCB, we're working hard to ensure you mean it when you say that you "love banking with us."
After ten years, we believe there are many reasons to love our banking products and services. And while stellar customer service remains at the core of our mission, I'd like to offer some timely reminders for the summer season.
This is a busy time for many families trying to juggle careers, childcare and camp experiences while taking in a dose or two of summer sunshine, especially in the Lake Country region. Many folks also plan to enjoy a traditional summer vacation to Grandma's house or another exciting destination for some special time together. When you return, remember it's not too early to set up a Vacation Club account to be well-prepared for next year's annual outing. Our staff is happy to open an account to help you build the budget for another exciting getaway with interest and payouts made in mid-April. Similar Holiday Club accounts also are available for a mid-November withdrawal to help you get a jump on holiday gift shopping.
If the warm weather gets you thinking instead about stepping outside to make some updates or repairs to your home, then a Home Equity Loan or Line of Credit may be just the ticket for you. Our expert loan advisors can help determine how much equity you have available to use on these type of projects that could improve the overall value of your home or simply make it the paradise you always wanted. So, bring on the design catalogs!
As the financial and housing markets recover, mortgage rates continue to decline and make this a great season to refinance or buy a new home. Refinancing an existing mortgage can help you pay it off in a more timely manner or simply reduce your monthly payment to free up funds for more immediate needs. If you're shopping for or ready to build a new home, our mortgage team also is well-prepared to assist with real estate and construction loans based on the current prime rate.
While we strive to honor our customers regularly, CCB also continues to support each of the communities it serves. This summer, I invite you to join us in our annual "Christmas in August" school supply drive. CCB staff will be collecting and donating piles of pencils and pens, reams of paper, colorful crayons and markers, folders, rulers, glue sticks, scissors and more to help arm our children with the tools they need to succeed in school. We'll have wish lists available at each branch and welcome your participation in this meaningful program.
Thank you for continuing to be a part of the CCB family --we love having you here.
Best Regards,
Thomas C. Manson
